Joining the Department of Archaeology at Southampton

New post as Lecturer in Palaeolithic Archaeology

I am very happy to share that I have taken up a post as Lecturer in Palaeolithic Archaeology in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Southampton, where I am a member of the Centre for the Archaeology of Human Origins.

Alongside my research across Mediterranean Europe, the Levant, and southern Africa, I am teaching across the undergraduate programme and at MA level. Details of all my modules are on my teaching page, and I am open to enquiries from prospective students and from early-career researchers considering fellowship applications.

Lecturer in Palaeolithic Archaeology

I am a Lecturer in Palaeolithic Archaeology at the University of Southampton (CAHO). My research investigates the interplay between technological evolution, mobility, and human-climate interactions across Europe, the Levant, and southern Africa. Using a combination of traditional and computational methods, I explore cultural transmission and demic spread during the MIS3.
